Our poster tubes are spiral-wound cardboard postal tubes designed to protect rolled posters, prints, artwork and photographs in the postal network. Every tube ships with two plastic end caps included — one fixed, one removable — so your contents stay safely sealed from warehouse to letterbox. Sizes cover A4 through to A0, and the same tubes work for maps, blueprints, certificates and rolled documents.

Choose the right poster tube size

• A3 poster tubes — for single rolled A3 prints; popular with print-on-demand and Etsy sellers.
• A2 poster tubes — the most common size for art prints, photography and music posters.
• A1 poster tubes — for larger format prints, framed art and architectural drawings.
• A0 poster tubes — for oversized artwork, blueprints and trade-show graphics.

For multiple rolled prints in a single tube, step up one wall thickness or one diameter — a tighter roll is harder to remove and risks creasing.

How many posters fit in a poster tube?

A standard 50mm-diameter poster tube comfortably holds 1–3 rolled posters. For 4–10 posters in one tube, step up to a 75mm or 100mm diameter. Rolling tightly inside a paper sleeve before inserting helps protect the print surface.

How do I get a poster out of a poster tube?

Remove the end cap, tip the tube and let the poster slide partly out, then grip the edge gently — don't pull from the centre or you'll crease it. For tight rolls, drop a sheet of paper into the tube first and use it as a sleeve to slide the poster out cleanly.

Can I take a poster tube on a plane?

Yes — cardboard poster tubes are accepted as carry-on by all major UK airlines, subject to standard cabin baggage dimensions. For oversized A0 tubes check with your airline before travel.

Are your poster tubes recyclable?

Yes. The cardboard tube body is made from recycled paper fibre and is fully recyclable through standard kerbside paper collections. The plastic end caps can be recycled separately at most household waste centres.
