Twisted handle paper carrier bags are the retail standard — a strong 90 GSM kraft bag with rope-style twisted paper handles glued into a reinforced turnover top. They stand up on their own, hold a surprising weight and are fully recyclable and biodegradable, so they satisfy plastic-free policies without costing much more than a polythene carrier.
We stock eleven sizes across brown kraft and white kraft, from a small 19 x 21.5 x 8 cm gift bag through to a 45 x 48 x 14 cm boutique size. Every bag has a side gusset so boxed goods, bottles and folded clothing drop straight in.
Where they are used
Clothing and gift shops, garden centres, delicatessens, off-licences, bakeries, pharmacies, market stalls and event goody bags. Brown kraft suits natural, eco-led and food brands; white kraft gives a cleaner backdrop for boutique and premium retail.
Choosing a size
Sizes are quoted as width x height x gusset depth. Measure the widest item you sell, add the gusset depth, and pick the next size up so the handles are not under tension when the bag is full. The 25 x 31 x 12 cm size is the everyday all-rounder for most shops; the 32 x 41 x 12 cm and larger sizes suit clothing and boxed goods.
