Block Bottom Bags With Card
Block bottom bags with a card base are clear, free-standing bags built for confectionery, bakery and gift packaging where presentation matters. Each bag is made from 35 micron orientated polypropylene (OPP) — the material often referred to as cellophane — and carries a rigid card insert in the base, so the bag holds its shape on a counter or shelf even before it is filled. The rectangular block bottom opens out fully, making filling quick by hand or by machine, and the crystal-clear film shows the product off without any wrapping, labelling or window required.What Are Block Bottom Bags With a Card Base?
A block bottom bag (also known as a cross bottom bag) is a clear bag with a square, gusseted base rather than a flat seal. Adding a card insert to that base stiffens the footprint so the bag stands upright unaided, holds a straight column shape when filled, and resists sagging under heavier contents such as fudge, nuts, coffee beans or granola.
